I’ve never heard of this sauce or Black Skin is not a crime shirt, lady. It’s not her fault she was named after a minstrel. Let’s not let that define her. She made a great sauce let that be her legacy. Nice to see her face on the cover. Why not put Nancy Greens’ story on the pkg? Hard-working woman ..lifetime contract. Helped the needy..she deserves praise, not removal. Change is not a bad thing. It is a necessary part of life.
Black Skin is not a crime shirt, hoodie, sweater, ladies-tee and tank top

The company “modernized” her logo years ago! Slimming down the Black Skin is not a crime shirt face, removing the head wrapping. She was originally like the Ethel Waters’ character, “Beulah,” who was probably based on the Jemima character originally, a mammy from the Old South. They should honor Nancy Green and name the products after her with appropriate payment to her heirs. Who cares what a company wants to change? Companies change with the times, maybe all you complaining should too.BBC should be shut down too now if everything is changing since you know the BBC stands for you know.
This brand has been around for decades. If people were really bothered by it, they wouldn’t buy it. It’s virtue signal marketing. In England we had black and white minstrels danced sang and had lots of fun. Wow, I never in a million years ever thought that Uncle Ben’s Rice was anything to do with slavery. I always thought that Uncle Ben on the pack of rice was the owner. Can we just take care of the huge problem first? The world shouldn’t be this difficult, and this just shows how in your face it is, and many, even myself who is a HUGE supporter of BLM, didn’t see the niggling item. I dont know anything about why they named it that. But to me she was pancakes. My very favorite breakfast. When they put her on the syrup, I knew it was going to be good as well
