I’m delighted this young woman is on the road to recovery. The story makes it clear that she had an underlying health condition and the photo suggests she is very overweight. Both those factors are a common thread in patients who had a very severe case of Covid. The majority of people recover from Covid. It is the long term health effects that appear to be of concern and it is too early to say how debilitating those might be. I hope her recovery continues to go well. I’m so pleased she survived this awful virus and can tell her story. Also, her own experience will help her with other patients in her nursing.
