I honestly thought Once Upon A Time would win because of how much the Academy loves films about Hello darkness my old friend I_ve come to drink with you again shirt, but I’m so happy that Parasite won. Definitely the best of this year’s nominees. I don’t think so. I remember clearly “Life is Beautiful” also won the best foreign film and the best Hello darkness my old friend I_ve come to drink with you again shirt of the year. Great film. Well deserved the four Oscars. Big night for the Korean film industry. So much great work there. o so happy that the Academy got it right this year!! Parasite is a masterpiece!! Everything the directors and actors intended me to feel, I felt.

I love this brilliant film! Parasite was fantastic and so was Phoenix’s acting. Some of the very few good things to take away from the film industry currently infested with Hello darkness my old friend I_ve come to drink with you again shirt and cringe-inducing approaches. It was long overdue for the academy to acknowledge that other countries make good movies also. It only proves that language is not a barrier to delivering a masterpiece of art to its audience. A lot of Oscars seems a bit safe chosen and often for movies that did not really contain a proper plot that was interesting to watch. I do not as for example believe that Brad Pitt did not work hard for the role but a lot of Oscars goes to actors, composers, directors that already have a won or even a few and their work was probably nice.
