Cristina Mtz That’s so stupid!!! At the Just One More Chapter shirt end of the day, We r going to pay for that airplane! I find him hard to read…being Victorian he seems to elaborate too much. But the t.v. adaptations are superb based on his wonderful stories. Has anyone read Old St. Paul’s or Windsor Castle by Harrison Ainsworth? Fabulous storyteller, but not very nice to his wife, he sent her to live elsewhere and blamed her for having lots of kids, didn’t want anymore so got rid of her, she was sent to live with one daughter in another house in London.A very sadly neglected author by many modern readers. Valuable historical social comment with subtle dry humor throughout for those patient enough to find it. Charles Dickens’ Oliver Twist was my first reading and others followed. A creative author he is!BBC
